There may be no better place to host an exhibition celebrating artistic and niche perfumery than Florence, Italy - the capital of the art world. As I strolled down the cobble-stoned streets of the storied birthplace of the Renaissance, I couldn't help but think how natural it felt to be in Florence specifically for the tenth edition of the spectacular Pitti Immagine Fragranze show. My camera was with me at all times, to capture artistic treasures, both marble and olfactory - and everything in between. I've infused this gallery with the best images from my entire trip: art, architecture, people, places, perfume, perfumers, and a few shameless bottle shots.

If you ever find yourself in Florence without a camera, well, may God be with you.
